- Ball returns are on the sides – This gives the table a higher quality feel
- Counterbalanced men – This feature is usually seen on more expensive tables and will be appreciated by more experienced players. It prevent you from having your own own players block the ball while you are trying to score
- Department store level quality
- The table leg adjustable feet gives you a percentage of height adjustment of two inches, and at the same time gives you a level playing surface

What we don’t like
- Assembly time is long – 3 to 4 hours
- Item is mostly compressed wood, and some panels aren’t 100% perfectly aligned
- Reviews show that many parts are cracked or incorrectly drilled and had to be altered or returned immediately upon arrival – Tables also arrived missing hardware
- Players are made of plastic as are the bearings – It’s preferable to have these made of metal, since they experience a lot of force during play
- Screws loosen relatively often and must be re-tightened
- Quality of the plastic used to make the players is bad
- Slopes on corner ramps could be steeper
- Underpinning wood components and side panels are considerably weaker than the same parts in a more expensive table
- MDF panels will crack if there’s intensive use
- Only 2 balls come with the product – You’ll need to buy extra
- The inner construction of this table won’t hold up to extended active play

The Hathaway Primo Soccer Table is a fairly good product for the price, and is suitable both for intermediate players and beginners. The solid steel rods are good for this level, since they make the game a bit slower in comparison to the hollow rods used by tournament level players. This will be a welcome addition to any playroom, den, living room, gaming room, office, or man’s hangout.
